Whistler Pride Festival

January 28 - February 1
Skiers and snowboarders wave rainbow Pride flags while descending a snowy slope during Whistler Pride Festival, celebrating LGBTQ+ visibility and community on the mountains of Whistler Blackcomb.

Whistler, British Columbia is one of Canada’s most beloved LGBTQ-friendly winter resort destinations, known for its epic alpine scenery, legendary skiing, and inclusive small-town energy. With massive terrain across Whistler and Blackcomb mountains and a walkable village filled with après-ski spots, cozy cafés, and nightlife, Whistler has long been a place where gay travelers feel welcome, visible, and celebrated both on and off the slopes.

New for 2026, the reimagined Whistler Pride Festival transforms the resort into a weeklong celebration of queer community, connection, and mountain adventure. The festival blends guided ski and snowboard meet-ups with après-ski socials, parties, drag shows, and signature Pride moments on the snow, creating an experience that feels equal parts winter getaway and chosen-family reunion. It’s a bold, joyful reminder that Pride doesn’t stop when the temperatures drop.
