When you think of visiting Kelowna, you automatically imagine Okanagan Lake, surrounded by beaches, vineyards, orchards, wineries, and hiking trails. Kelowna is the largest city in the Okanagan Valley, and it is Canada’s crown jewel when it comes to summer gaycation travel. Knowing where to stay is important for LGBTQ+ travelers, especially when it comes to safety, personal comfort, and style. Let us introduce to you, the Hotel Zed Kelowna

The Hotel Zed Kelowna is located directly across from City Park, on the shores of Okanagan Lake. The bright and colorful exterior is a bold and definitive way the property sets itself apart, welcoming gay travelers with open arms, embracing inclusivity, and providing a safe haven by understanding the sensitivities of the queer community. Basically, it screams amazing gaycation!

From the moment you arrive, you know it’s going to be an exciting stay. From the colorful VW bus parked at the entrance of the reception area and the typewriter in the waiting area, to the mini discotheque and rotary phones in each room, the vibe is crazy fun.
