Harrison Mills is located on the eastern flank of the Fraser Valley. It’s where you can wander old growth forests, walk along the Harrison River, watch salmon spawn, and eagles soaring overhead, and take in the fresh air. It’s absolutely nature on overload in the Pacific North West. It’s also where you’ll find Sandpiper Resort, a beautiful 18-hole golf course, and home of Rowena’s Inn on the River – the place with the log cabins!

Rowena’s Inn on the River

Located on the shores of the Harrison River, Rowena’s Inn on the River is a secluded property that is perfect for those looking to get a taste of cabin life. While there is the original Gatsby-style manor, the log cabins are what make this property unique and memorable.

There are two types of cabins to choose from, the rustic classic cottages, and the brand-new luxury nature series cabins. Both cabin types offer the Canadian log cabin experience you’ve been looking for.

The brand-new luxury nature series cabins come in one, two, and three bedroom configurations. These cabins are prefabricated in central British Columbia, from local trees, and then were shipped and assembled on-site – so you truly are staying in an authentic Canadian log cabin.

The four-season cabins are also eco-friendly, having heat pumps used to heat or cool, depending on the time of year. All cabins have a deck in the front, so you can sit back with a cup of morning coffee or a glass of wine at night and enjoy the stunning views.

The rustic classic cottages are part of the original owner’s family history. They are cozy, studio-style accommodation, with wood burning fireplaces, and views of the golf course, mountains, and Harrison River. Units come with bathrooms that have heated floors and deep soaker tubs for two. Choose the rustic classic cottages if you are needing a romantic weekend without leaving the room.

Whichever option you choose, at night all you’ll hear are the sounds of nature, and you’ll wake up to the sun rising and birds chirping. This is your time to breath in and take in the beauty around you.
