Gay VR is the Ultimate Experience For the Modern Queer

by | Jan 1, 2022

Virtual reality has been around for decades, but it hasn’t taken off until recently. Now, there are many different types of virtual reality headsets available. Some of them are very expensive, while others are much cheaper. There are even some that you can use with your smartphone or tablet. Most of these devices allow you to see 3D images, as well as hear sounds while immersing you in a digital world – or as Mark Zuckerberg would like you to call it, the Metaverse. You can wear these headsets while playing games, watching movies, or doing homework.

The most popular models of virtual reality headsets so you can access the virtual worlds the metaverse has to offer are:

  • Samsung Gear VR
  • Oculus Rift S
  • Oculus Quest 2
  • HTC Vive

Let’s not confuse Virtual Reality (VR) with Augmented Reality (AR). VR is a computer environment where you wear goggles and see a 3D world through a screen. AR uses a smartphone or tablet to overlay information in the real world. For example, in AR, if you’re at a concert and want to know who is playing next, you could take out your phone and look up the artist’s name. Then you would see their name superimposed over the stage. In VR, you would just flick through a list of live avatars that appear in front closely enough for you to touch or even kiss – we see you, Troye Sivan – and we want you to pull an Ariana Grande and give us an out of this world experience.

Most people know VR in a gaming context, but we can do much more than just game with VR. There is a whole metaverse full of gay virtual reality apps and games and some excellent options for a cheeky rub when you’re feeling randy. So, we decided to take the time to tell you what gay VR is and how we can use it to feel good, have some fun and stay connected. As we move through 2022, it will become more integrated with our lives – so we should embrace this and use it to its full potential.

Gay VR in context for the modern queer

Remember how we just mentioned that VR can be gay and used to keep us connected and from banging everything regretful on Grindr? Well, there are loads of gay VR apps you can download and experience. We will start with the tame uses and then move towards the more fun and less well known.

We can first use VR to immerse ourselves in a gay VR chatroom. Yes, they exist, and there is a huge community on Reddit full of people looking for gay VR chatrooms! Check out some of the best gay VR worlds that the metaverse has to offer according to Reddit. We know Reddit is a goldmine for anything, and this list doesn’t disappoint.

Keep in mind that most of the metaverse will be LGBTQ+ friendly. VR is quite literally a place where you can be anything you want. You could likely find yourself flying on a farting doughnut through space while talking to a hella sexy horseman with abs – are you a fan of Bojack Horseman?

The next way we can make gay VR hella cool is to travel virtually to see all of the sites we would love to see! When you travel somewhere in VR, it can feel like you are there in real life. In some apps, you can even walk around in public with people around you. In other instances, people take 4k or 8k videos to experience festivals. You can take a virtual field trip and tour during Amsterdam’s pride festival for the ultimate gay VR experience. It’s a great way to avoid the troubles of travelling during the COVID restrictive times we are living in.

The last and best way to use gay VR porn is to heighten your sexual experiences. We will be bringing you a guide to the best experience with gay VR porn. Many of your favourite sites are already making content for you – and accessing it is easy. There are also many toys you can use via Bluetooth for making solo sex much more enjoyable. In some cases, you can even get toys with specially made videos that suck your dick for you.

Gay VR is the technology from the future that we need now. How will you use it to improve your life? Let us know in the comments.
