2022 Happy Holidays from HomoCulture!

by | Dec 24, 2022

2022 has been another banner year! HomoCulture returned to full force this year with coverage of all things related to gay culture both domestically and internationally for our readers around the world.

With the world still partially shuttered in 2021 due to COVID, HomoCulture was proud to return to live events in 2022, to provide in-depth coverage from important events on the gay calendar including Pride Winnipeg, Northalsted Market Days, Halifax Pride, Pride PEI, Folsom Street Fair, Southern Decadence, Las Vegas Pride, White Party Palm Springs, Banff Pride, Palm Springs Pride, and Victoria Pride. These events were not only important to the community, but were also integral to showing the resilience and strength of our team as we made a commitment to maintain a high level of excellence expected from us over the years. This year also showed the true mettle of our community, and we consider it an immense honor to relay it to the masses.

We continue to be proud media sponsors and provide support to our community by raising awareness, increasing engagement, and acknowledging local talent. No matter where news breaks in the world, HomoCulture will always maintain close ties with LGBTQ+ members at a grassroots level. There have been significant setbacks as well as strides in 2022, with LGBTQ+ people making waves in entertainment, appearing in movies, television, and radio.

Politics and legal rulings this year are set to change the lives of millions of queer people in the coming years, and we will be there to cover every issue in breaking LGBTQ+ news and politics affecting the community. The battle for equal rights for LGBTQ+ people is far from over and if there is a fight, HomoCulture will be at the crossroads to dissect and disseminate critical information that affects all of us living under the umbrella.

As travel restrictions eased, we visited queer-friendly destinations to inspire our readers, fans, and followers to find new adventures to fill their souls, including Tofino, Phoenix, Banff, Sandpiper Resort, Palm Springs, Kelowna, and more.

From the entire team at HomoCulture, we wish you all the very best through the end of this year and across 2023. This season, be mindful, be caring, be attentive, and be positive.

Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and have a wonderful New Year!
